I have a 2003 mustang cobra that was wrecked for behind but all the engine and transmission parts are in working order. I am interest in buying a 03-04 GT and putting the engine and transmission for my cobra in the GT. Will that be an even swap?

I like your idea, thought of it myself but never got around to it due to being 17 and not having money. But yes it would work, engine mounts are the same, just electrical, get the right harnesses, tranny is same bolt ons if you dont know how to do the electrical I highly recommend that you get it done, you could catch a fire like i did. The swap can be done relatively easily. There are a few guys at the track I go to that have done the swap. I am sorry to hear about your cobra though, what a shame. At least you are going to be able to keep the heart of it alive in another car.
