1967 Mustang “Eleanor” Buy it?

Okay, so my husband and I have thought about purchasing a mustang. We found a website that does the shell body of the 67 mustang, but you have to do the paint/engine/interior. They do this for around $23,000. Wondering if we should just find an old 67, rebuild it from inside/out, then have the “Eleanor” body frame put on or would that be just to expensive. Or we could go the other route and just buy a newer mustang. Any people with knowledge about rebuilding would be great.

  1. If you really like the 1967 “Eleanor” car from Gone In 60 Seconds, then I’d recommend purchasing a replica that’s already been built. Let somebody else put all their time and money into it! I’m sure there’s even places that specialize in making/selling Eleanor replicas.
