I am having a hard time finding this information. Why was it called the “grande?” What made it different? Thanks!

“Grande” was a popular trim line that Ford used extensively back in the 70s and 80s. Basically it was the “plush” version of whatever line.
it was available in the 69′ mustang. which was the infamous Mach 1 year. essentially, the Mach 1 was the performance line mustang and the Grande mustang was “luxurious” line that had more interior flare and comfort that the base models didnt,
