You may have:
A radiator blockage
The lower radiator hose may be collapsing
The new water pump may be incorrect & the internal vanes may not spin the right way.
There may be a [problem with the heater core (most likely answer). Either there is leakage from the heater core into the enclosure (check for dampness on the passanger floor mat) or there may be a blockage or leakage near the heater core. There is a restrictor in the hose going to the core in some years to reduce pressure, so you wouldn't want to take that out. There is a TSB (technical service bulletin) mentioning leaks, etc into the passanger compartment due to hoses going to the core being aged and cracked or the clamps being misplaced or incorrectly tightened leading to air bubbles and leaks as though the heater core was leaking.
Seriously, I believe the heater core and associated lines are your most likely culprit. If you have AC as most people do the repair bill is in the hundreds due to the high labor cost of removing the dash, etc. Good luck!

Sounds like your due for a new radiator. They aren't that expensive and your cooling system will run much cooler. Have the upper and lower radiator hoses changed at the same time.http://www.autozone.com/N,16300172/shopp…

Could be a clogged radiator (a pressure test won't detect this). When the car is hot, (carefully) put your hand all over the radiator. Any clogged sections won't be hot. If that's the problem, you'll have to have the radiator removed and dipped in a hot cleaning bath.
