its simple, I have had to find them when installing msd ignition. get a test light, and get under the dash to the ignition switch wires. then turn the key to start, and then run to find the wires you need, unhook your starter solenoid before doing this to avoid starting the car while checking the wires.
If it is a wireing problem I can not help you.
If you are just wanted to start it with a bad ignition try this. You can then drive it to a repair shop. Never looked at one, but maybe….
Make sure car is in park or neutral and the emergency brake is on.
Hot wire from positive of battery to positive side of coil.
Short or jump the two terminals on the solenoid to engage starter. Just touch long enough to start the engine and remove as soon as engine starts. (The big one and one small one.) Just barely touch at first to see if you got the right small one as starter will turn over if you did.
To turn off remove the wire from battery.
Double check with a mechanic.
might be a spade connector for “ign” on your fuse box, i know there is one on my nova but thats a little older. should be one going to your distributer and your ecu also. should be another one running down your steering column from you ignition switch. dont know any wire colors though, have to electrically test them or find a wiring diagram.

you should have several in the fuse box to pick from.
