   first of texas outlaw is an idiot u say the model year (2005) and second off i have gone faster than 130 mph and top speed is a great question! acceleration matters as well but top speed matters too!! it is around 155 mph probably most cars have to be eletronically limited at 155 mph for insurance reasons! or else everyone would be going 200 mph down the highway! which i think would be great! lol hope this helps and dont listen to those other idiots!!!

   Although the top model Mustang Saleen Extreme is limited to a top speed of 155mph, the speed limiter (governor) can easily be bypassed by a simple tune. Without this governor, the car is capable of around 175-180mph.

   Faster than you’ll ever need to go. Seriously, top speed questions are just pointless. Look at the cars acceleration. That’s what you’ll be using everyday.

   It depends on the year model your lookin at, but the other dude is right look at the acceleration you prolly wont ever go faster than 130
