I just got a1989 mustang saleen. It was like the car in the fast and furious movie, except i think it was a clone. my saleen in the real mccoy, speedometer say 170 mph. i have only had it up to 112. i have to find a dragstrip and get er done. does anyone have a clue how much it is worth? not that i would sell.

things like this are only worth as much as someone will pay for them. now i know that sounds redundant but i mean think about it. although it is an amazing vehicle it is still only worth alot to a collector. to everyone else its just a nice old car that may come with alot of problems and maintenence needs. Im not dissing the car dont think that. i have a Diamante Euro Spyder. one of only about 20 made ever. some people would give me 12grand for the car but when it comes down to it, its only a really really nice old car. If the saleen is in top shape im sure you could easily find someone who would give you 10 grand or more for it
Saleens are not Shelby’s if that is what you are hoping for. Steve Saleen like Carroll Shelby had a vision to produce monster race vehicles the same as Shelby did and he Succeeded in doing so. The only prob. Until they get some years on them and become scarse (idots crashing them) they will only be worth book value. There are three in Ohio at the time like you have, from 6-12K. In all honesty the 6K dollar car is a lot nicer than the other two. Like the gentleman said above. Might be worth more to someone else.
