  1. Best bet, go to the Saleen website and see their versions….I tend to agree with prior answer, a lot of Saleens running around are all plastic/body kit vs. Roush which tend to focus more on ‘attitude”.
Personal preference the ’03 & ’04 Cobra terminators, suitably upgraded.
Have a peek a u-tube, tons of good Mustang shows
eg a Saleen thats been twin turbo’d running at about 900 RWHPhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWx-XeaNM…
    or
terminator, upgraded with a kenne bell……http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WB0cuYujW…

  2. It’s certainly not a combination of handling and speed.
The new Saleen mustang has THE SAME suspension and brakes as the GT, but with much more power – that’s just dumb.
It’s quick in a straight line, but a real hassle in any other direction. The Roush handles much much better.

  3. It’s a combination of both. Granted, you can take a stock Mustang GT and modify it to make it just as good as a Saleen for a little cheaper, but the rarity of Saleens are what makes them really special. I’m more of a Roush fan myself, though.

  4. The basi saleen? Just the body kit. i don’t like the s197 style saleen. But the edge looked the best, imo. Better off for insurance and costs to just ordr what parts of the body kit you like if looking for the basic saleen. I wouldn’t fo that though.

  5. saleens are like race version of the mustang there faster have better suspension and are supercharged

  6. a mans thing dear, v8 thunder and a supercharger yes please
